SSTESOL Conference Grants
Purpose: Designed to provide financial support for teachers, paraprofessionals, parent liaisons, and/or graduate students currently involved in TESOL, TEFL, Bilingual Education, Applied Linguistics or a related field.

Who’s Eligible: Any of the above pre-service or in-service professionals
  • who have not been awarded a SSTESOL conference grant in the past,
  • who study or work in the state of Florida, and
  • who will not be receiving support from their own institution to attend the Sunshine State TESOL Conference.


Award: 6 awards at $200.00 each.

Guidelines & Criteria:
  • You must be a member of Sunshine State TESOL. (If you are not a current member, you can get your membership here)
  • Only complete applications submitted by deadline above will be considered. Complete applications consist of the application form and required essay that can be found below.
  • Recipients must participate in the sessions each day.
