The Emerald Coast TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) is a chapter of Sunshine State TESOL of Florida. As a non-profit organization, Emerald Coast TESOL is dedicated to the advancement of the English as a Second Language profession and to serving the teachers/instructors and administrators in Northwest Florida.
Northeast Florida Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (NEFTESOL) is a chapter of Sunshine State TESOL of Florida. As a non-profit organization, NEFTESOL is dedicated to the advancement of the English as a Second Language profession and to serve the many teachers/instructors in the northeast area of Florida.
Bay Area Regional TESOL, (BART), is the Tampa Bay community’s local resource for Teaching English to Speaker of Other Languages. BART serves TESOL educators and professionals in several counties around the Tampa Bay.
Central Florida TESOL is an organization committed to the promotion of the scholarship of teaching and learning English as a second language in Central Florida and beyond.
Palm Beach TESOL (PBTESOL) invites you to come and participate in meetings during the school year. Palm Beach TESOL is the local TESOL affiliate. We partner with Sunshine State TESOL, the state TESOL organization for Florida. During PBTESOL meetings, there are opportunities to share, connect and network with other ESOL professionals. Social and academic meetings alternate throughout the year. Guest speakers and presenters provide current ESOL information and materials at PBTESOL meetings.
The mission of Broward TESOL is to strengthen and improve instruction of English to speakers of other languages and promote effective intercultural communication and understanding. In support of its mission, Broward TESOL provides professional development, resources, and networking opportunities for educators, as well as leadership and advocacy on policy related issues.
Miami-Dade TESOL (MDTESOL) gathers professionals that work with those learning English and another language in order to share best practices, learn the latest trends in instructional practice and research, and advocate for students, families, and educators. We meet during the fall for our annual symposium and again in the spring for our networking event. We welcome all to join us!
The Southwest Florida Chapter of Sunshine State Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (SWFL TESOL) provides a forum to share best practices and resources promoting equity and equality in the instruction of English language learners. Our chapter includes the following counties: Lee, Collier, Charlotte, Monroe, Hendry, and Glades.
