The Emerald Coast TESOL (ECTESOL), a chapter of Sunshine State TESOL, will hold its annual conference on Saturday, April 20, 2024 The ECTESOL annual conference is a great way for ESOL/TESOL professionals to connect and share ideas, successes, and even challenges. Like last year’s conference, this year’s conference is scheduled as a hybrid conference with both in-person and online opportunities to attend. The in-person portion of the conference will be held at the International Center/Japan House in Building 71 on the University of West Florida campus in Pensacola.

We, ECTESOL board members, look forward to this annual event and encourage you to join us. Don’t hesitate to share this information with your colleagues and friends who are interested or invested in multilingual learners of all ages as well as those teaching English to speakers of other languages.  

Attached is a call for proposals. Please consider sending a proposal. Fellow teachers and educators would love to hear about your classroom ideas or lessons you learned from your own practice or through other experiences.

The conference registration form is also attached with options to attend in-person or virtually. A Zoom link will be emailed to those who opt to register to attend remotely. We also have a special registration fee for students.

We have a great lineup of speakers and workshops planned along with a special lunchtime performance to enjoy. In-person attendees will be offered lunch and refreshments. We will also have door prizes that will be announced throughout the conference.
