Institutional Excellence Award

Purpose: To recognize an outstanding contribution in the support of English Language learners.

Who’s Eligible: Florida K-12 schools, higher educational institutions, community organizations, and non-profits.

Guidelines & Criteria:

Click APPLY and submit a one-page narrative that provides evidence for each of the following criteria:
• The institution’s mission related to the education of English Language Learners
• Ways in which the institution empowers its members
• Ways in which the institution engages in professional development and student learning
• Ways in which the institution contributes to community initiatives for English Language Learners

Include a signed, scanned letter of recommendation from a stakeholder outside the institution. Attach the letter to the application form.

Note: Anyone who has previously won a scholarship or award is ineligible to apply.
