Russia's large-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, profoundly impacted education in the country. Educators faced extraordinary challenges and were compelled to rethink every aspect of the educational process under the duress of air raids, blackouts and destruction to school infrastructures. Learning and using English became crucial in amplifying the voices of resistance. This volume explores the experiences of Ukrainian and non-Ukrainian educators who taught English during the first year of the invasion: povnomashtabne vtorhnennya.
